Treatments

Adult prophylaxis (cleaning)

Commonly called a dental cleaning, a prophy is a preventive service that includes polishing of the teeth to remove plaque, buildup, and stains above the gum line. It reduces gingivitis, an inflammation of the gums that may cause bleeding.

Intraoral exam

A hard and soft tissue examination that includes checking the teeth, the soft tissues of the mouth, the throat, the tongue, and the gums.

X-rays

Pictures of the teeth, bones, and soft tissues that are diagnostic for detecting cavities and other pathologies of the mouth. Our technology is state of the art and uses the lowest amount of radiation.

Nightguards/mouthguards

A custom made and custom fitted appliance used for the prevention of teeth grinding.

Fillings

A restorative procedure used to repair the tooth when there is a cavity. Cavities occur when bacteria destroy tooth structure. We remove the bacteria and cavity and replace it with a restorative material, such as composite or amalgam. We use the highest quality materials.

Crowns/bridges

A full coverage restoration used when a major portion of the tooth is missing. A bridge can also be used to replace a missing tooth in the mouth. We use the highest quality materials such as porcelain, gold, and zirconium to ensure that the restoration feels just like your natural teeth.

Laminate veneers

Translucent thin laminates made of porcelain to improve the esthetics (shape, spacing, color) of natural teeth to correct crowding or replace composite bonding. Porcelain veneers are extremely lifelike and hold their brilliance.

Invisalign

“A clear alternative to braces”. Using the latest advances in 3-D computer technology, invisalign creates a custom made series of aligners to gradually and gently shift your teeth into alignment. Treatment will last approximately one year.

Child prophylaxis (cleaning)

Similar to an adult prophylaxis, this procedure is performed on children when baby teeth are still present. Our team is renowned for their care and friendliness with children.

Extraoral exam

An examination that includes checking the head, neck, face, and jaw.

Oral cancer screening

We routinely screen for oral cancer with every check-up exam. Oral cancer screenings are essential for early detection of cancerous and pre-cancerous lesions.

Retainers

A plastic appliance used to retain teeth after orthodontic treatment.

Inlay/onlays

A more advanced restoration used when a significant portion of a tooth is missing due to decay or fracture. We typically use porcelain or gold to replace missing tooth structure. This process involves prepping the tooth, taking an impression, having a lab custom make the restoration, and cementing in the final restoration at a later date.

Implants

A replacement choice when a tooth or multiple teeth are missing. A titanium post is fused to the jawbone and a crown or bridge is placed on top.

Whitening

We offer two options: in office and at home trays. In office teeth whitening is a one-hour process that involves brushing gel on the teeth and using a light to dramatically whiten. Take home whitening involves filling custom made trays with tooth whitening material.

Dentures

This is another alternative to correct missing teeth. Custom fit and color matched to restore your smile to what it used to be.
